Most of us are now good at making decisions in the digital space — whether we're buying a sneaker, looking for a car, or trying to find a new job. We start the search, find our way around in seconds and add the appropriate products to the shopping cart.

The “Direct to Consumer” (D2C) strategy, in which companies sell directly to customers, has proven effective in e-commerce and could also be used in recruiting. Companies should implement a “Direct to Talent” (D2T) approach as a fundamental logic of thinking in their recruiting, similar to the “Direct to Consumer” strategy in e-commerce.
